Did You Think To Pray (Deluxe Reissue)

Music City Records is pleased to release an authorized reissue of this award-winning Southern Gospel music work by Charley Pride. Originally released by RCA Records in 1971, the entire album has been digitally remastered especially for this long-awaited CD edition.

In 1972, Pride was honored with two GRAMMY Awards® related to this classic Country Gospel music album -- Best Gospel Performance (Other Than Soul Gospel) for the Ben Peters penned single "Let Me Live" and Best Sacred Performance for the album itself.

Charley's rendition of "Wings Of A Dove," the bonus track, originally appeared on his 1968 album entitled MAKE MINE COUNTRY. The song is best known for being a massive number one Country hit for Ferlin Husky and makes a fine addition to the original repertoire of the DID YOU THINK TO PRAY album.

This special reissue features mini-LP type packaging that is also eco-friendly. The paperboard CD wallet has been engineered to securely house the disc and sized so that it can be stored alongside standard CD releases that are packaged in plastic jewel cases. Designed with a retro theme in mind, the packaging incorporates the original LP cover artwork and adds both historical notes and expanded production details. The package also includes a disc that is designed to mimic a vinyl LP and a flashspun polyethylene CD dust sleeve (like an old-style, paper record dust sleeve) that provides an additional level of protection for the disc.
